1.In the introduction, the authors should indicate the conditions under which the negative and positive results of the Phalen test depend, in the light of the literature.
2. Why did they include the diabetic patients? Nerve involvement could be earlier than carpal tunnel syndrome in these patients. Did the authors check the diabetic patients' sense of proprioception and presence of polyneuropathy clinically?
3. What is the place of ulstrasound in the diagnosis of CTS? It should be added to the discussion.
4. Is 10 seconds enough to consider the Phalen test positive? It looks very subjective. They should have checked this positivity with more objective criteria such as testing with ultrasound and/or having control group.
5. The discussion is unsufficient.
