Content of review 1, reviewed on June 25, 2020

The authors in this research article reported the synthesis of PANI/ZnO nanocomposite and its visible-light photocatalytic degradation of coloured dyes. Overall, the manuscript appears to have good experimental observations with well characterization support. However, a revision is necessary in order to clarify the following minor issues to improve the quality of the manuscript to meet the journal standards.

1- The title of the manuscript is not fully informative. It is not reflecting the characterization part of the manuscript which actually included advanced techniques and added the significant strength to the manuscript. Hence the reviewer suggests modifying the title as "Synthesis, characterization and visible-light photocatalytic degradation of coloured dyes by using Conducting PANI stimulated ZnO system. 2- The abstract section needs to be improved. The authors should discuss more on the application part and mention the novelty of this work in the abstract section. 3- To explain the photocatalytic mechanism other techniques are necessary (Photocurrent-time, electrochemical impedance, HPLC, TOC..). 4- The authors should provide a table that includes the previously reported catalysts with their photocatalytic capacities and reusable capacities along with the present catalyst to express the advancement of the present work. 5- The effect of experimental parameters on the photodegradation efficiency is also required to be done: (pH, initial solution concentration and catalyst loading).
