The following minor comments should be addressed before acceptance.
About the title : The effect of UV-C was not tested on tomato plants but on detached tomato leaves. It is misleading to state otherwise in the title and elsewhere in the document. The authors should be invited to give the right scope to this study. Should be replaced by "tomato leaves" as done in line 15.
Line 16 and elsewhere Botrytis cinerea Pers., or Botrytis cinerea L. Please use either one through the manuscript.
Line 20 Replace by PDs as in line 57
Lines 58-59. Only two pathogens where evaluated in the cited studies. It is suggested that the authors replace " against a large range of pathogens " by "in several host plants". Moreover Forges et al 2018 and 2020 are not listed in the reference list
Please verify and complete the references list. At least the references citation Forges et al 2018 and 2020 are not listed.
Line 198: the authors claim that the Duncan multiple range test (MRT) was used for means comparison. This MRT is a aposteriori test which is normaly conducted depending on the ANOVA outcome. However, there is no evidence that an ANOVA was conducted. This must be clarified.
