Mental health and exercise have a deep association. One is the physical activity uses cerebellum and different parts of the brain in performing mindful coordinated and repetitive activities, which rewires the brain; neuronal circuits are made. Also, the circulation to brain and oxygen is increased. Second, an overlooked area is, that it is exposure to outdoor surrounding that has a profound effect on the mental health, it's an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, think thing from a different perspective, also the observations of the surroundings enable you to take the mind to refocus.

The second factor needs further research.
