Thank you for a great and important study showing real-world national evidence of effect of AID systems. I do though have a couple of comments.

1. Regarding the method, please describe if possible a little more regarding ethical approval, consent and whether data reporting were made automatically by uploads and medical files or by having the participant there?

2. Please elaborate on how missing values are treated, are all study participants included for all data points?

3. Please describe a bit either in introduction or method on how the payment for AID and therefore prescription of these were in France back in 2022? Could all who wanted get it?

And in discussion please discuss on this studys representativeness or generalizability of the full cohort of persons with diabetes in France

1. At page 13 what do you mean by 28% having no contact to HSP? How did they then obtained the AID? can it be bought online without prescription in France?

2. Which other pump systems have been included besides tandem and medtronic?
