I deeply appreciate your sincere response to my comments. The revised manuscript seems fine, but I would like to ask the authors to specify the fire data used for the analysis. "MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) fire data" (line 168) is vague (fire count, fire radiative power, or burned area / level-2 or 8-days composite / Terra or Aqua,...), and enough information should be given to the readers.
