I had the privilege of reviewing a scholarly article titled "From Theory to Practice: The Impact of E-Learning on Student Performance, Trends, and Educational Horizons" for Qeios, a highly esteemed international publication. This review paper utilized bibliometric analysis and followed the PRISMA methodology to examine the relationship between e-learning platforms and student performance in the post-COVID-19 era.
The abstract, introduction, and methodology parts were composed in a methodical and scientific manner. The study largely concentrates on articles between 2012 and 2022, utilizing Scopus as the principal database. While Scopus is a reliable source, depending solely on one database may restrict the scope of the review. Alternative databases, such as Web of Science or PubMed, may provide further studies that could yield contrasting results or augment the thoroughness of the study. The Results section accurately presents the study's aims by offering comprehensive analysis and data that align with each of the specified goals. The research provides a comprehensive overview of the e-learning field and its impact on student performance, effectively meeting the stated goals. The discussion portion of the document is thorough, methodical, and conforms to scientific criteria. The text consolidates the study's data in a logical manner and analyzes the trends and patterns identified in the results. It is preferable to base one's writing on the findings of earlier studies and emphasize the originality and importance of the investigation. The conclusion section properly encapsulates the study and is in line with its objectives; implementing these ideas could improve its lucidity, comprehensiveness, and applicability. I suggest that the author incorporate two separate segments that specifically discuss the ramifications and constraints of this research. Overall, this manuscript has adhered to the conventions of scientific writing. I would much appreciate it if the editor were to make favorable conclusions regarding future processes.
