It is a typical, albeit well planned and executed, paper on medicinal chemistry. It considers the design (basing on previous experience of Authors) and evaluation of novel group of anticancer agents. The strong part of the paper is an approach to define possible mechanism of action of these compounds. Paper is worth to be published albeit requites some small corrections, which are as follows:
1./ English has to be carefully checked, especially if considering the use of plural versus singular;
2./ it is not good to refer to the numbers of compounds in Abstract. For sure, the name of compound 6b should be given when it appears in Abstract for yhe first time (it is given a little bit later); also full name of Dox should be given;
3./ beginning of Introduction should be "by that the cells divide and grow";
4./paragraph 2.1.: since in all cases at least two compounds are considered plural "compounds" should be used; should be used as "utilizing en-hexane/ethyl acetate
(1:3) as eluent"; also should be: "in the range of" not at;
5./paragraph 2.2.1: the sentence "Doxorubicin (Dox) as a reference cytotoxic drug
was used also tested as positive control utilizing MTT assay" is unfortunate;
