The review article(RA-REV-02-2024-001027) entitled, " MOF/Graphene Oxide Composites in Smart Supercapacitors: A Critical Review for Advanced Energy Storage Devices" is based on the metal organic framework/Graphene Oxide Composites for energy storage devices. The manuscript includes the carbon-based MOF/GO derived material for electrodes in supercapacitor application. Authors have systematically summarized the latest research and development trends of MOF/GO carbon materials of 151 papers in the field of supercapacitors. However, some parts of this discussion are not comprehensive which needs to be revised before publication.
1. The title of the review is found to be short of its value and significance, and authors may keep it more informative from science and technology development.
2. For the summary and outlook section, the authors provide more clear perspectives the structure and properties of different MOF/GO derived carbon materials.
3. Author should revise the whole manuscript once again, some reference should be given in the proper way.
4. In the introduction section, the author introduces the energy storage mechanism of supercapacitors in detail. If convenient, adding the corresponding energy storage mechanism diagram of MOF/GO is recommended to facilitate readers' better understanding.
5. the notable surge in the publication and citation of literature focusing on MOF/GO utilization for supercapacitors should be added new Fig.1.
6. It is suggested to provide a new table which contain the comparison of MOF derived carbon, MOF/GO and MOF/PANI some composite for energy storage applications, such as 10.1002/adma.202308989.
7. Authors should provide novelty in the manuscript to highlight the significance of this review work.
