The manuscript submitted by Zaki and co-workers describes on design, synthesis and Cytotoxic and Apoptosis activity of Coumarin-Acrylamide hybrid. The manuscript is well-written, and the bioactivity and chemistry depicted of hybrid derivatives are interesting and useful approach. This manuscript can be is accepted in RSC Advances after minor revision with following recommendation.
1. In scheme 1, authors should describe reaction condition with temperature and time in foot notes and yields in scheme for each product 6a to 6f.
2. In SI, in all NMR spectra, all 1H and 13 NMR spectra should be properly entitled with 400/100 MHz, CDCl3/DMSO-d6 of xxx.
3. Some of the 1H NMR spectra doesn’t exhibit enough purity and need to repurify and include clean spectra for example compound 4 has some impurities.
