This work reports the synthesis of encapsulated chiral Zn(II)-Salen catalyst which is used for the synthesis of chiral βamino carbonyls via a one-pot three-component using an ultrasonic irradiation. The reaction is well-reported using the homogeneous form of several catalysts. The chiral catalysts need to be recycled for practical application and this work demonstrated such recyclability of the catalysts. Hence, from a sustainability point of view, this work merits publication in this journal. I recommend the work for publication subject to the following revision
1. Report the gram scale application of this catalyst for one of the reaction
2. Characterize the catalyst after the last recycle and compare such data with the previous recycle.
