Endovascular technology and methods have advanced significantly in the past 2 decades. Randomized controlled trials have demonstrated benefit for patients with ruptured aneurysms to be treated with primary coil embolization. However, aneurysm recanalization or recurrence and blockage are a concern for any modality of endovascular treatment of aneurysms. Patient has to continue antiplatelet therapy for at least 6 months after the procedure to avoid thromboembolic complications. Author of this study has not mentioned about any antiplatelet therapy in post operative period. Also, long term follow-up of these cases is mandatory with either non-invasive or invasive investigations as needed further.
