The review article by Al-kuraishy and colleagues involves an important area that the helminth infection may affect the outcomes of COVID-19. While in principle the topic of this review is worth to be discussed, already there exist lots of similar review articles, and this one added less to the topic.
The current article includes lots of conclusive statements on the interactions between helminths and COVID-19 based on the suggestions of previous relevant review articles and subjective assumptions ((i.e., ‘therefore’, ‘thus’, ‘as a reuslt’ are throughout of the paper), but actually may be misleading as to date there exist very limited direct epidemiological, molecular and experimental evidence of helminthic benefits in COVID-19 patients and model organisms. Particularly, one only recent epidemiological study in Ethiopian, which is important and relevant to its topic, is not cited in this paper.
For example, Line 185-189, why chronic F. hepatica infection may attenuate the SARS-CoV-2 infection by binding to immunomodulation-related transcripts, instead of CD147 due to the strong similarity in the protein structure between CD147 and transcripts of F. hepatica. Therefore, F. hepatica acts as a modulator of SARS-CoV-2 infection and of COVID-19 pathology [56].?
This is an absurd and misleading conclusion. Do these immunomodulation-related proteins of F. hepatica expressed on upper respiratory tract and lungs?

Also, the paper presented is lack of narrative logic.
