Perre et al., wrote a letter to the editor addressing whether Monkey pox virus can be transmitted through breast milk. While there is currently no evidence on the risk of transmission through breastfeeding, there are some guidelines that have been set in place. There also identify plausible criteris through which the virus could be potentially transmitted through breastfeeding. This is a timely and comprehensive letter which will serve as a base for future research in this field. There are some small typos and textual changes that the authors could make.
