Very well written, with scientific scrupulousness, and very careful in the procedures and interpretation of results, this investigation, as the authors state, can serve as a basis for future investigations of PIP as a novel bioactive compound in the therapeutic development against infectious diseases caused by bacterial strains as a preservative agent in food, cosmetic and medicine industries.
