The manuscript was presented well with the significant technical relevance. The following suggestions need to be addressed:
1) Use full nale of PLA at first sight in abstract
2) Represent polypropylene as PP and not P.P.
3) Expand PEt at first sight in introduction
4) How authors claim starch as a crystalline polymer?
5) Page 3 of 17, Lines 50 and 51, statements are confusing. Please make it clear
6) Page 4 of 17, LIne 13, What is MFR? Why closed bracket is appearing after MFR?
7) Why did authors select high amylose corn starch?
8) Expand DMF at first sight in Materials and Methods.
9) Page 4 of 17, Line 24, Please represent NaHCO3 with proper subscript.
10) Page 4 of 17, Line 25. Why 28 appears after 1 hour?
11) Consistency should be followed in representing an unit of hour throughout the manuscript. I suggest to denote h for hour.
12) Page 4 of 17, Line 26, Change powdered to powder
13) A statement starts with Table 1 may be moved to next paragraph.
14) Follow uniformity in representing units. Page 5 of 17, Line 9, leave space between 30 and mm.
15) Page 5 of 17, Line 18, water is kissing distilled water.
16) In FT-IR, band between 3100 and 3500 cm-1 may be due to the presence of water.
17) Page 5 of 17, Line 52, Is it chitin filled with PLA or chitin filled with PLA/starch?
18) Page 6 of 17, Lines 10 and 11, Both statements are cotradictory and confusing. Hoe reduction in elongations enhances elongation property?
19) Avoid using short sentences with less than 5 words. They do not mean anything in the manuscript.
20) Figure 1b is not clear for reviewing.
