In this manuscript the authors describe the rasterdiv R package that contains multiple indices to measure diversity from remote sensing based on Information theory. The package is well described in the manuscript and provides detailed information on the algorithms and arguments within the functions. A valuable addition to point out is that the manuscript explicitly provides warnings on some of the settings were the results are prone to unrealistic outcomes which improves the user experience and the overall applicability of the package.

The manuscript has been largely improved and the applications of the rasterdiv package are better presented trough the example. I have used the package following the directions provided and have successfully performed the analyses included in rasterdiv.
