Dear authors,

The aim of the study was to examine the reliability in the assessment of 6 signs of pathological tooth wear and 18 clinical signs and symptoms determining etiology, all of which are included in the TWES 2.0/DC-TW.

It is a nice and well-written paper addressing an interesting topic on the management of tooth wear.

I would like to complement you with this manuscript and I only have some minor comments:

The statement “So far, no other studies have systematically investigated the reliability of tooth wear qualification” seems to be SPIN (Pereira, J Dent 2022). I would advise to rewrite this sentence.

Moreover, I would advise to rewrite your conclusions to make these more focussed.
