The abstract of this paper is crisply drafted and it provides all the relevant information about the article from the title point of view. It discusses about the aim and highlights the findings as well as the methods of inquiry. From the abstract it becomes very clear what the paper is all about and what has been shown in the title itself. References are recent and properly written and most of these are relevant to the theme of the study.
The researchers have given a detailed account about study area, its prospects as a conservation area. The researchers have included detailed review in the introduction itself, thereby supporting the different dimensions associated with conservation of national parks. The researchers have raised several questions about the conservation and preservation of natural resources and supported the same with relevant review of literature. The rich resource base and the role government has been playing is clearly highlighted in the introduction. This has helped the researchers to know about the opinions of different stakeholders pertaining to sustainable development of tourism in the study area.
The methodology part has been very beautifully supported with relevant research design techniques and data collection tools. Semi structured interview method has been applied in the present study for data collection and population has been selected by applying the relevant formula. Overall, the methodology part is very impressive and it shows the genuineness of the research and the hardworking nature of the researchers.
The results have been presented in the tabular form and fully supported with relevant literature in the same domain of the study. The researchers have utilized all the efforts to support their results by citing the best examples from the extensive survey of the literature. The results are presented in a thematic analysis mode which is a new dimension in qualitative research since most of the tourism researches otherwise take recourse to quantitative analysis.
The discussion part details out the policy issues from different perspectives taking into account the sustainable development of the tourism. The study concludes with certain policy framework measures which is very helpful for the planners and developers of tourism destinations. The conclusion is very much related to the aim and objectives of the study. Conclusion has been beautifully summed up and supported with relevant examples by applying the literature in the same domain.
OVERALL: The present research is an extensive and exhaustive work and it fully supports the aims and objectives as has been outlined in the study itself. The study follows a coherent pattern and has beautifully answered the questions. The present study has added an important dimension of qualitative research in the tourism field which otherwise is found lacking. One flaw which i noticed is that literature review should have been done separately instead of highlighting it in the introduction itself.
