Review body

This is a very poor manuscript, with no scientific basis for the referenced information. Except for the first paragraph about mobility, there is absolutely no scientific basis for any other information regarding the impact of garlic, onions, black beans, ginger, pepper, khat, or menthol on having antiviral effects of SARS-CoV-2. Furthermore, the information about smoking having an antiviral effect is not only erroneous and false, it is dangerous because smoking has been shown to be a risk factor for COVID-19 and therefore it is dangerous to promote smoking during a pandemic of SARS-CoV-2. Even the main assumption of the manuscript, i.e., the fact that Yemen is COVID-free, is not based on any supporting information. The manuscript doesn’t even mention whether testing for SARS-CoV-2 is being undertaken in the country, or not. I strongly recommend rejection of the manuscript, since the entire information presented here is medically and scientifically incorrect. I do not recommend revision.
