The manuscript reports: Fabrication and Magnetoelectric Investigation of Flexible PVDF-TrFE/Cobalt Ferrite Nanocomposite Films. The authors employed valuable techniques allowing for most of the given conclusions. The manuscript is good, and I am expecting high interest of the readership. Nevertheless, some details must be clarified and corrected in the manuscript. The article could be considered for publication after stronger revision along the suggestions listed below.
The introduction of relevant background and research progress was not comprehensive enough. The purity of raw materials must be included. What was the pH of the solution? The XRD pattern of Figure 1 leaves some doubts because the diffraction peaks are different from what is expected for cobalt ferrites. Did the authors do any treatment at baseline spectrum? In addition, there are diffraction peaks that have not been identified. Miller indices for the XRD patterns of figure 2 must be included. Comment on the crystallite size obtained, how the synthesis method influences the crystallite size (9 nm). The standard JCPDS for the XRD pattern of Figure 2 must be included. Comment on figure 2d and the results visibly observed. The scale for figures 4 b, c and d must be included. What is the thickness of the films shown in Figure 4? Including cross-sectional images and discuss. The authors did not explain exactly how the coercivity is determined. It is appreciable that the authors have analyzed the Fabrication and Magnetoelectric Investigation of Flexible PVDF-TrFE/Cobalt Ferrite Nanocomposite Films, but there is no in-depth scientific discussion. A careful review of the entire manuscript must be performed. Strong scientific discussions must be made throughout the entire manuscript. To strengthen the discussions, more up-to-date bibliographic references must be sought and included in the text. Based on this, I suggest that the authors make a careful review of the manuscript.
