The manuscript addressed the knowledge gap in nurses' capability of providing MOUD and safe supply in the primary care setting through a qualitative study. The manuscript was well-written, and the results were nicely discussed. I have a few comments to help clarify the manuscript:
- Introduction, 2nd paragraph: "However, barriers remain to NP treatment of OUD in both Canada and the United States" This sentence could be incorporated into the last paragraph or at the end of the second-to-last paragraph to improve flow.
- The Present Study section: This doesn't have to be a separate section because it only has one paragraph. It could be moved to the end of the Intro section.
- Methods - Data Collection - Interviews: It would be helpful to present the questions asked in the interviews. Also, who developed the interview questions? How were these questions developed?
- Methods - Data Analysis: Who did the data analyses in each step?
- Methods - Trustworthiness: How did the first and second authors split the data analysis tasks and roles?
