5- The authors did not provide any details about the characterization of the used clay samples? 6- The authors also did not include any equations related to the adsorption studies?

8- The data were well presented. moreover, tables, figures, columns, and rows were labeled correctly. Statistically significant results were clearly obtained in this paper and the results practically meaningful.

Comments on discussion and conclusions

10- The conclusion was moderately answered the research aims and questions. The conclusion was supported by results however more details about the findings in this paper need to be added to the conclusion.
