Just few details to be improved.

Introduction.
Line 40. References Kolawole et al., 2010 and Yéo, 2007 are not very appropriate for demonstrating that cassava is one of the world’s main root crops, particularly because they are outdated. It would be better to access the FAOSTAT database, check the situation for cassava world productions and cite it, as done at line 43.
Lines 42.44. Since the title and aim of the work mention Cameroon, statistics of cassava production in this Country should be included. Cameroon should be mentioned more often in the Introduction, where now only Nigeria is considered, otherwise is not clear why the research is focused on Cameroon also.
Line 80. A reference is needed. Moreover, also safety issues are considered in cassava breeding, to select low cyanogenic potential cultivars. Add to the text.
Line 84. Check often/always.
Lines 152-153. The description of the analysis of data should be more detailed (principal component analysis?).
Fig. 5. More details should be given such as: temperature of fermentation; hole size in sieving step; roasting temperature and time; drying time and temperature referred to cassava fibers; mean duration of sun-drying.
