is relatively simple and lacks significant In this study, the authors prepared copper nanoparticles using Nigella sativa seeds extract, a green synthesis method. The properties and biological functions of prepared nanoparticles were investigated. This study is relatively simple and lacks significant significance. Moreover, the manuscript was poorly written. Therefore, in my opinion, this manuscript is not suitable for the publication in this journal. The following are comments and suggestions for this study:
Title is very confusing. Obviously, copper nanoparticles were not produced by Nigella sativa seeds in this study.
The abstract was poorly written. For example: copper nanoparticles were prepared by taking seeds with different concentrations. Again, the sentence is very confusing. Moreover, the significance of this study should be mentioned in the end of the abstract.
Introduction: The authors should carefully review the current state of the research field about green synthesis of copper nanoparticles by plant extracts. However, I didn’t find enough information about those similar studies. Meanwhile, the authors failed to explain why this study is important.
The author could give the prepared sample an abbreviation.
Line 116: Extraction of Plant Extract. Must be revised.
Line 160: Copper nanoparticles prepared by using plant extract. This section is not about the preparation of copper nanoparticles, but the applications of prepared copper nanoparticles.
Conclusion: A big mistake in the conclusion. Line 363 “The different concentrations of 5 %, 6 %, 8 %, and 10 % of copper nanoparticles were prepared”. It should be “the different concentrations of seed extract (5%, 6%, 8%, and 10%) were used”, like the authors mentioned in Line 132. The whole conclusion was poorly written with many English issues.
