The authors need to provide more detailed information about the analysis and maybe, be more succinct in the results and introduction.
It is not clear how they used the historical presence-only and the presence-absence data in the model, neither they clarify which is their spatial sampling unit.
Also, the authors should use additional information about sampling effort in the presence-only data, to be able to separate the true absences from the lack of sampling.
Finally, the authors should acknowledge the potential phenotypic plasticity of these plants to live in a new environment.
