The authors present a new method of coating magnesium oxide nanoparticles with positively charged polymers and show their efficacy for anticancer activity. The authors have nicely used the coupling of cationic polymers on magnesium oxide nanoparticles and shown the thorough characterization. Further they show the anticancer activity of these nanoparticles using MTT assay. Overall the manuscript is nicely written and can be recommended for publications with minor changes. The figure legends need to properly expanded including all the details of the figures and replicates.
