The article is very well written and the design is relevant to the study goals.
Despite the fact that disturbed glucose tolerance is a well-documented adverse reaction to Fluoroquinolones, the blocking effect on voltage-gated potassium channel Kv11.1 is a novel finding.
Hypoglycemia is a serious side effect which can be life threatening in diabetic patients. The deleterious effect is exaggerated by affecting the electrical activity of the heart in form of prolonged Q- T interval.
This makes studying such effects of a commonly used antibacterial of huge value.

Studying the side effects of quinolones on glucose homeostasis is a very important and critical issue. Its importance is mainly attributed to the wide use of antibiotics in diabetic patients.
This research work aiming at elucidating the effect of moxifloxacin on potassium channels is crucial to discover more about its mechanism of action. This can lead to more clinical awareness to avoid the undesirable effect or even employing this effect in some resistant hyperglycemic states.
