The article: "Living donor liver transplantation with twostage hepatectomy for patients with isolated, irresectable colorectal liver—the LIVER-T(W)O-HEAL study. " is a well written article which highlights possible advancements in liver transplantation and metastases therapy. The study Protocol is unremarkable, I only have some concerns about time of stable disease, which, in my opinion may be short for some kind of aggressive tumors. The study is still an ongoig project which is actually in recruiting phase. I am looking forward to see further publications and consistent results. A positive outcome may change the concept of mCR treatment although organ shortage is an issue that shall not be underrated.
