Comments on abstract, title, references

Thanks for the opportunity to review this study. It is really a good topic, written clearly. The following comments would be helpful for more improvement

The title is relatively long. suggest to be shorten: May be: Experiences of nurses educated outside the European Union of the Sweden bridging program and its role in their integration into nursing profession: a qualitative study.

The abstract is well structured and indication the study design, participants, sample, data collection methods and analysis. the result section highlight the main themes derived from the qualitative analysis with a focused conclusion. the reference are relevant , however may of them need updating.

Comments on introduction/background

Suggest to Add the conceptual definition of bridging education programs in the second paragraph of page 4. the introduction was started with defining the main study concept ( bridging program ) and its importance , however, the research question did not clearly outlined in this section.

Comments on methodology

The methodological part delineated the study design with its reason as a justification for using a qualitative design sampling methods and number of participants were described clearly.. data collection methods were described in details with the number of interviews, length, overarching questions

Comments on data and results

The type of data is qualitative one. Data analysis presented clearly with its approach (interpretative approach) . In addition the criteria of academic rigors and trustworthiness were describe, followed by the number of themes derived from the qualitative data analysis. Result described clearly the emerged themes with a representative table and participants' quotes. It seemed a practically meaningful result.

Comments on discussion and conclusions

Results discussed from multiple angles and placed into context without being overinterpreted. Also, the discussion highlight the major implications/ recommendations of the study. The conclusions answer the aims of the study .yet not supported by references. Authors added recommendation for future studies to overcome the highlighted limitation.
