The authors selected WT1 for the biological experiments because of the different methylation levels between tumor samples, and confirmed hTERT inactivation by dose-dependent overexpression of WT1 in MyLa and HuT778 cells. Because these 2 cell lines are hypermethylated in WT1 binding site in THOR(fig 2), additional data is preferable about WT1 overexpression analysis of other cells with hypomethylated in WT1 binding site in THOR.
Furthermore, Ebox regions were not hypomethylated in all cells (except for MyLa and HuT78), it is very interesting about the association between hTERT activation and MYC expression.

I think it difficult for readers to understand what the authors want to say in this figure.

I think the authors need to elaborate on why the divergence between THOR methylation and hTERT expression occurs by DNMTi.
