Well-structured work, presenting quality characteristics in research, evaluated in terms of timeliness, and scientific relevance and social impact of the theme. As for its relevance, the need for medical and psychological intervention in dependence on substances harmful to health, the socio-cultural factors that condition the social network and crime, and the severity of the illnesses of addiction due to individual and collective consequences, demonstrate the opportunity of the study. As for relevance, the scientific rigor of behavioral and cognitive-behavioral interventions in people with disorders due to the use of substances such as phenyltin, the need to reduce side effects of self-administration of the substance in question, and the prevention of desire and relapse, support this study. As for the methodological correction, the documentary format, the structure and logic of the work development, the statistical methods used and the data, bibliographic references, access and analysis are timely and appropriate, the work being systematized, without epidemiological mishaps and with very good considerations substantiated. As for the content, it is a current work, in science, rigor and comprehensive impact, centered on the dependence on a substance harmful to health and its pharmacological and motivational treatment, proving the importance of the cognitive-behavioral intervention, establishing the balance with the pharmacological medication. In global analysis, the work “Comparison between the Efficiency of Pharmacotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Reducing Captagon (Fenethylline) Dependence and Relapse Prevention" is an excellent work, as an appropriate scientific article in Adictology, controversies in patient orientation, the dogma of abstinence from controlled consumption, social, moral and ethical stigmas and clinical identity in addictive behaviors, with great interest in the academic environment, in the professional context and in society.

There is a need for studies with larger samples. The characterization of cognitive-behavioral therapy should be further developed in other studies.

In Adictology, it is important to analyze time and additions, linking science, clinic and politics.
