This is a narrative review paper focusing on the therapeutic applications of tDCS on auditory hallucinations. Although such comprehensive reviews help to direct future studies, performing systematic review woth meta analysis will be more useful. The point in this regard is the disease type and the used protocols of tDCS have wide heterogeneties which make conducting meta analysis study difficult. Conducting review paper focusing on the dose response and the physiologicla and neuroimaging assessments will further pave the way for future development.
