On the one hand this paper replicates the data and information already published by he same authors in Kim T, Bershteyn M, Wynshaw-Boris A. Chromosome therapy: Correction of large chromosomal aberrations by inducing ring chromosomes in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Nucleus. 2014 Sep 3;5(5)

On the other hand this approach is not relevant in practical live, as the loss of the ring chromosome and the UPD-realted duplication of the normal chromosome can never be used in practice. As authors state at least in their oral presentations the number of cell cylcles necessary to apear the ring chromsome-loss and duplication of a normal chromsome happens after 100s of cell divisions - not happening in a living organism like a human being. Also this approach would not be suited for imprinting related chromosomes!
