To the authors:
The manuscript entitled “Asthma and rhinitis control in adolescents and young adults: A real-world MASK-air study” approaches a very interesting topic. Its conclusions express aspects that can be helpful in the management of adolescent patients and are in line with other studies that focus on the use of mobile heath technologies in clinical practice.
I have made a few suggestions.
1. Some information regarding the minimum age of the included patients should be included in the text. My suggestion is to rephrase lines 254 and 296 and include “adolescents (>10 and <18 y)”. The authors have stated this information on the introduction section (line 275) but it should also be included in the abstract and in the inclusion criteria information.
2. It is not clear who are the included patients? Patients who are followed in clinics? Or Patients who freely downloaded the app? I think it should be clear for a common reader who is not familiar with the MASK-air App.
3. Please rephrase the following sentence: “Hover, overall, …” (line 440).
