The article entitled “Enhanced Optical and Electrical Properties of CeO2NPs/Chitosan Nanocomposite” describes the preparation and characterization ceO2 reinforced chitosan nanocomposites. This an interesting article and needs more corrections before final acceptance. These are my comments
1. The abstract is poorly written. The content cannot reflect the merit of this research
2. The introduction part is messed up. Use recent refences rather than old one. Add the reinforcing of different nanofillers with biopolymer composites. For general readers, authors are encouraged to add the different types of nanocomposites of biopolymers such as: https://doi.org/10.1177/08927057211046282 , https://doi.org/10.1016/j.inoche.2021.109184
3. Give Experimental section before the materials and methods. In material section give the materials used in this study and in method, give the preparation of nanocomposites followed by the characterization part
4. The details of samples used for the characterization techniques are missing
5. In figure 1 and 2. The Y axis is missing
6. In FTIR discussion add some references
7. In figure3, the Y axis is not TGA % , it should be weight (%)
8. In conductivity discussion add a reference
9. Compare the results obtained in this study can be compared with other results and hence to point out the advancement of this work with suitable references

The revised article can be accepted for publication
