The manuscript presents new thermodynamics of entropy generation minimization with nonlinear thermal radiation and nanomaterials. The contribution of the report to the body knowledge is genuine. The author should consider the following points: 1. The authors present the title of the report as “new thermodynamics of entropy generation minimization with nonlinear thermal radiation and nanomaterials”. However, the title is misleading. This is true because the name of the fluid was not mentioned. Although nanomaterial was mentioned, the authors should bear in mind that the word “nanomaterials” is not a synonym to nanoparticles. 2. The present form of the abstract is acceptable as it presents the aim of the research, a brief summary of the method that was used, key results with significance measures and the conclusion which addresses the aim. It is important to remark that the background information i.e. the significance of the research is missing. 3. Reading through the introduction, it is worth noticing that the authors not only introduced the major concepts but also appraised fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and nanomaterial and entropy generation. The topic of the research was introduced and brief explanation of the importance of research was stated. However, the author was unable to explicitly state the purpose of the research. 4. The literature review lacks empirical review. It is rare to deduce any related published report(s). This may be the reason why the author was unable to state if their results corroborate or contradict existing related published results. 5. Bejan number (Be), Entropy generation (NG), Brinkman number (Br) are the major parameters suitable to investigate the proposed new thermodynamics of entropy generation. However, the authors were unable to establish the effect of these dimensionless numbers on the local skin friction coefficients and Nusselt number proportional to the heat transfer rate. 6. The author illustrated the effect of increasing magnetic parameter on the skin friction coefficients at various values of A. The discussion of this result is not concrete. The author only described the effect with little or no justification. 7. It is important to remark that the references are relevant, current and cited correctly.
