I suggest that the manuscript #JPRI_75484 entitled “The Compliance of Healthcare Providers to Care Bundles in a Tertiary Hospital in Riyadh Region”, could be rejected for publication in the Journal of Pharmaceutical Research International due to its questionable validity, as well as being a less useful addition to the existing literature.
The major reason for rejection is the use of unsound methodology. The authors need to present the actual content of the bundles mentioned or provide appropriate relevant reference citations for the readers. In addition, the study setting, study design, diagnostic criteria of infections targeted, preventive, measures, and the improvement model implemented should be presented and addressed clearly. The references cited in the manuscript could serve as a basis for the authors for this issue. In brief, the manuscript needs to be completely re-thought after reexamining what the researchers had really done on the topic.
In a literature review, many high-quality articles relevant to infection control in Saudi Arabia can be downloaded through Pubmed using a simple search strategy with the terms (Saudi Arabia) AND (bundle) AND (infection). This would have allowed the authors to highlight the broad scope of bundle strategies in infection control and prevention already implemented in the country. However, in its present form, I do not consider that the manuscript brings any significant contribution to the literature due to reasons above mentioned.
