The paper proposes a new design model to address an important issue for desalination of seawater.
To improve the quality of the paper, writing of the paper needs to be improved. Some examples of the sentences that should be revised in the abstract and introduction include:
• The complete words should be used to define the abbreviation (PV) in the first time.
• Use of “tweak” in the abstract is too informal for a scientific paper.
• The sentence in the abstract “For achieving still productivity of (𝑷𝒔𝒕= 15-20 kg/day), simulation analysis suggests a solar still design with a basin area of 11 m2.” is not complete and comprehensible.
• The complete words should be used to define the abbreviation “MENA” and “GCC” in the first time.
• Use of the word “potentials” in the first paragraph of the introduction is not proper.
• Use of “cons” in the introduction is too informal for a scientific paper.
Screenshots are used in Figures 2-4. I suggest reproduction of these figures for clarity. Other figures should also be revised with larger fonts and improved clarity.
