In their manuscript, Prevalence and Population Genetic Data of Color Vision Deficiency Among Students from Selected University Institutions in Lagos State, Nigeria, the authors conducted a cross-sectional survey to determine the prevalence and heritability of color vision deficiency among students. The manuscript is well written and the data are well handled and analyzed. From my point of view, I recommend publishing the manuscript in your journal. Below, some comments that I would like the authors to take into account in their revised manuscript. 1. The terms deuteranomalous and protanomalous should be defined in the introduction or materials and methods. 2. References to the equations used in the materials and methods should be provided. 3. Data were analyzed in terms of ethnicity, but no information was provided to outline these ethnicities; Please give the reader some information about them.

Second Revision

The authors responded positively to all directed comments and the manuscript is now suitable for publication in its current form.
