Summary
The research paper posed interesting questions that require several studies in order to prove it, and know its negatives and positives affects, and it may be considered a new entry to prove another function of interleukin IL-17. In addition to being an inflammatory cytokine in the epithelial membranes it can appear a therapeutic function of the epithelial cells by inhibiting the Jack pathway and thus it is possible to control the Cytokine storm by reducing strong cytokine interactions.
Major and minor points
The title is relevant to the object of article and the questions of the study are clear. It is interesting title because it indicates to converting the pro-inflammatory function of IL-17 into anti-inflammatory.
In the introduction, the article provides information on interleukins related to patients with HIV COVID-19 who have moderate and severe symptoms. This article requires additional information on interleukin-17 and its relationship with other interleukins.
At the part "In fact ,this cytokine in combination with interlukin-22 regulates homeostasis and contributes to the repair of epithelial cell damaged previously by extracellular inflammatory stimuli" Verification requires adding a source at the end of this part.
The author mentioned interleukin IL-22, but did not say what it was, what its function was and what its relationship was with interleukin IL-17, must write a background on IL-22.
There is no indication of the type of method used for research purposes.
