The manuscript entitles:"People with learning disabilities who have cancer; an ethnographic study" which aims to explain the experiences and needs of people with learning disabilities with cancer, gain insight into their lives, care experience, and barriers to access to care Hygiene performed was checked. The subject of the study and the type of participants as well as the design of the study are interesting for the readers and the findings are valuable and important. The following can be considered as minor revisions for correction:

  1. Abstract (method): The method of sampling and selection of key informants, the time of the study, and the method of data analysis are not mentioned. To check the novelty of the research, it is necessary to specify the date of the research. How to select key informants is very important in ethnographic studies, which needs to be mentioned and how to analyze the data should be briefly mentioned.

  2. Abstract (Conclusion): In this section, despite the proper conclusion, practical advice and application of data is not mentioned. It is better to briefly mention the application of the findings in the clinic and the recommendation for future research.

  3. Abstract (Keywords): Instead of terminal care, use Palliative care, which is a better-known word and is also used in the text. Also use cancer instead of neoplasm, which is mostly biological.

  4. in the introduction of the article, (page 504) no explanation is given about the studied culture. According to the type of study, it is necessary to provide information about the culture (cultural behaviors, cultural artifacts, and cultural messages).

  5. In the Design section, more explanations should be given about how the researcher interacts with the participants and the factors that create and facilitate this relationship so that the role of the researcher in the study can be more clearly understood.

  6. In the analysis section (page 504, paragraph 4), the method of data analysis is reported in a general and completely vague manner and it is not possible to understand how the researcher came to the conclusion. Expressing the method of analysis in the form of a step-by-step explanation or presenting the analysis process systematically in the form of a table is absolutely necessary to judge how to analyze.

  7. in the strengths and weaknesses of the study (page 508, fifth paragraph of the second line), the author claims to have used data integration while the method and manner of using data integration are not clearly stated. Did you mean the combination in terms of Source? To be expressed.

  8. Findings: The findings of the study do not provide a clear description of the culture under study. It is necessary to mention some cases related to culture in this section.

  9. Findings: Ethnographic study themes should have a cultural burden and be expressed as a cultural theme. In some cases (Care provision, Cancer diagnosis, and treatment decisions) this issue is not observed and needs to be reviewed.

  10. The findings merely describe some of the cultural aspects of the participants and do not go beyond that, while interpreting and analyzing the cause of these behaviors beyond the description will contribute to the richness of the study.
