  1. Introduction part is very long. Please try to describe in brief and effective.\r \r
  2. Please provide more details about UCST polymers and put some recently published articles related to UCST in aqueous solution such as Polymer Chemistry 2014, 5(7), 2411-2416; Macromolecules, 2011, 44, 413–415; Macromol. Rapid Commun., 2012, 33, 1898–1920. Please correct it and give due credit to the authors.\r \r
  3. What was the need to add small amount of K3[Co(CN)6] in RAFT prepared protonated pDMAEMA? However authors provided reference but it would be more applicable if mention its importance in manuscript text. In the intro the authors might want to include examples on UCST of PDMAEMA in presence of [Co(CN)6]3-, see eg as Polymer Chemistry, 2013, 4, 4322 including mentioned ref 22.\r \r
  4. Authors are trying to show reversibility of CO2 response by using different polymers. There is not a single polymer example to verify the UCST which shows protonated to deprotonated polymer and then its vice-versa?\r \r
  5. What is the application of author’s synthesized UCST polymer?\r \r Overall the concept and the basis of the work are good but not novel or innovative and therefore are not suitable for Chemical Communications. After taking care of the suggested points, the manuscript can be resubmitted to “Polymer Chemistry” journal.
