The manuscript "Morbidity and mortality of COVID-19 negatively associated with the frequency of consanguineous marriages, an ecologic study" was thoroughly reviewed. The authors demonstrated a negative correlation between consanguineous marriage frequency and morbidity/mortality due to COVID-19. The findings are interesting and the manuscript was well written.
