The title clearly aptly captured the subjects and focus. The abstract also carefully highlights the objectives, methods, results and conclusion. All highlighting the most important points. The study claims that there's a deart of evidence in sub-Sahara on the interactive impacts of both social support and regular physical activity on psychological distress are generally much limited. It also claimed that physical activity in old age is strongly related to ensuing mental functioning abil-ity and that there is a negative relationship between physical activity and psycholo-gical distress which was significantly mod-erated by social support. To support the claims, analysis of the generalized logistic regression found that 4.2% and 4.8% of the variance were explained by physical activity and social support respectively. There is a fair quality of evidence because participants were self reporting. Also, the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale and General Physical Activity Questionnaire have been used extensively elsewhere indicating their acceptance reliability. Ado1ption of a multi stage regression analysis is apt because it hel:ps to understand the relationship among the dynamics of the variables. The points and arguments were well laid out and are relevant to the study. They are logical and flow from one point to another. Some significant omission in the study include the length of period patients have been seeking attention from the AHPWHB. This point could help explain their various degrees of psychological distress. I agree with the findings of the research because evidence information corroborate them. And also, because it corroborate evidence existing elsewhere. And I disagree that frequencies of contact with family or close friends and social participation are the only key variables to ascertain social support -religion believe and practice can not be downplayed in this kind of study. The strength of the study lies in its adoption of existing studies. That's trying to replicate studies in developed countries in a developing country.
