Abstract : Very succinct

Title : Clear and appropriate for the content that is being described.

References : Have DOI no. links which enables reader to easily access the appropriate reference in detail.

Comments on introduction/background

This is an "opinion article" so introduction and background is a part of abstract.

The authors acknowledge that there is lack of definition of post-acute and chronic COVID-19 definition and the fact that only patients who experience long-term effects are likely to register in the survey underscoring its limitation.

Comments on methodology

Authors have reviewed appropriate literature.

Comments on data and results

  1. Authors have appropriately commented first on most common general symptoms and then on specific organ systems.

  2. Authors' emphasis on monitoring for heart failure due to subclinical myocarditis is justified.

  3. Importance of monitoring for pulmonary and neurologic sequelae is argued with solid evidence from quoted literature.

Comments on discussion and conclusions

  1. Authors acknowledge lack of large studies about COVID-19 sequelae.

  2. Authors appropriately in describe challenges that will be encountered in managing COVID-19 "long haulers" and provides suggestions how to tackle it.
