The authors present an innovative study of CP-NPs coupled in vivo with Arabidopsis thaliana. The paper presents a rich introduction which allow the reader, also out of the field, to really understand the concept and the studies of the paper. The discussion and the conclusions are also at the point and well completed.

I have some minor comments:

-I'd suggest the authors to revise the experimental part, adding all the providers of the reagents and solvents used.
-for clarity I'd substitute the "liter" letter for a capital L
-in figure S1 the molecule has a poor resolution and presents weird bond angles, the authors should redrawn it.

The authors successfully upgrade the manuscript with all the reviewers comments.
