The paper deals with encapsulation of thymol and limonene in metal-organic frameworks. The inhibition of Colletotrichum musae growth was investigated. The subject is interesting. However, how to prepare ZIF-8 and UiO-66-(COOH)2 was not very clear. The preparation method of ZIF-8 and UiO-66-(COOH)2 should be provided in the paper.
