The paper studies the modeling and control to the DFIG with unbalanced and distorted grid voltage. It is possibly an interesting topic. However, the feasibility and contribution are to be clarified more clearly.
Some comments are given in the following.
1. Abstract. "A proportional resonant ... proposed...." PR is not proposed by this paper.
2. It is suggested that "the dq-axis current components of these harmonics are controlled separately in the rotor and grid side converters". Theoretically it is possible, but actually questionable, since the control design of the converters may be much complex for so many high-oder components.
3. The unbalanced and distorted grid voltages are eventually harmonic componenets. With the filters at the converters, the high-order harmonics is not a severious probelm. The negerative components of the DFIG are also well studied . There are already many literatures. So what's the theoretical contribution of this paper?
4. The basic modeling to the DFIG may be simplidfied, while the modeling proposed by the authors may be explanined and compared more carefully.
5. Selection of the control parameetrs of DFIG against the harmonics are to be explannined. The control parameters should be given be in the paper or the Appendix.
