Content of review 1, reviewed on April 10, 2024
This is an excellent review done by Dr. Gratan, a specialist in the field, and it has excellent coverage on the subject of "Prolactin" and its receptor, and an extensive literature search. I would have only minor concerns, as follows:
1. I noticed that the pronoun' first person' is used quite frequently—' I/my.' It might be more appropriate to use 'It' (referring to the review itself) as the 'Object Pronoun.' This could enhance the objectivity of the review. I suggest considering this change.
2. Typos: page 4: laternal change to lateral; page 7: asotrocytes change to astrocytes.
3. It would be very informative to the readers to add a figure with the amino acid sequence of prolactin and neuropeptides with similar sequences and with probable crossreactivity.
4. It would also be very informative for the readers to understand the prolactin receptor with a figure with a drawing of it. Let me remind you that this is a "Review."
